At Animation Renaissance we understand that technology is an ever-evolving moving target.
Doing the best work as efficiently as possible means staying on top of what is new, as well as staying with the tried and true techniques and applications.
The most recent evolution in rendering is real time ray tracing, and no application embraces that and artists more than Unreal Engine. We use a lot of applications. We even use Unity for some clients. But in-house projects now all end in Unreal Engine. And Epic has done a wonderful job in supporting independent artists. This is an exiting time to be a digital filmmaker.
